About unignosis

Training the next generation of multi-disciplinary professionals.

unignosis builds CyberRange: hands-on, browser-based labs across cybersecurity, AI, drones, Arduino, EEE and programming, mapped to UK QAA outcomes.

What is CyberRange?

A multi-domain lab platform built for universities, not for individuals.

A teaching and assessment platform giving university students hands-on experience inside safe, isolated environments, at scale, across disciplines.

Realistic scenarios where learners practise penetration testing, machine-learning experimentation, embedded systems development, drone simulation, circuit design and more, all from a browser. Built on modern containerisation and isolated network design, CyberRange spins up a private environment for every student.

No cross-contamination. No local installation. No VMs. Just an institutional URL and a browser tab. The experience is the same whether the cohort is twenty undergraduates or two thousand, and the workload on the IT team does not grow with it.

100%

Browser-based access. No installs, no VMs.

24/7

Always-on platform availability.

Per-student

Isolated environments. No cross-contamination.

Real-world

The same tools and scenarios used in professional practice.

Capabilities

Everything a university needs in one platform.

Live scoreboard & analytics

Real-time competition tracking, lecturer dashboards, cohort-wide progress visualisation.

Flag & assignment submission

Capture flags or submit coursework through a single streamlined interface, auto-marked where possible.

Team collaboration

Shared workspaces with built-in chat, code sharing and synchronised lab state for group projects.

Getting started

How it works.

From institutional onboarding to a student's first running lab, in minutes.

01 · Register

Join via SSO

Students join via institutional invite code or SSO and are placed into their course cohort automatically.

One-click labs

One click spins up a browser-based environment, pre-loaded for the discipline: Kali, Jupyter, Arduino IDE, ROS, SPICE.

03 · Build

Real environments

Students complete challenges, build projects and run experiments, in real, isolated environments.
